Blue titanium rear sprocket bolts

I decided it was time to replace the plain titanium rear sprocket bolts. Here are the new blue ones just like the ones on the new RC213V

Todays Sepang Test Cancelled

Engine checks on Pedrosa's bike —which yesterday had a fault— and a fierce storm postpone testing in Sepang until tomorrow
Due to an engine failure on Dani Pedrosa's RC213V machine yesterday, HRC sent the engine to Japan for analysis.

The feedback after the investigation was positive; however it arrived after lunch when the Sepang circuit was drenched by heavy rain, so unfortunately the Repsol Honda riders were unable to take to the track.

Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa will return back on track tomorrow and resume their testing program.

Casey and Repsol Lead the tests

The Repsol Honda Team had a positive start to the second Official MotoGP test in 2012 in Malaysia
Honda factory riders Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa topped the time sheets at the end of the first day both happy with the feeling they had with their 1000cc machine.
A thunderstorm stopped the activity on track early in the afternoon, and Dani took the opportunity to ride a few laps on the RC213V in wet conditions for the first time while team mate Casey chose to remain in the garage instead and discuss testing plans for the second day with his crew.
The current MotoGP World Champion has been working on various set ups and he set the best lap of the day with a time of 2'01.761 on lap 8 of 16 completed.
Dani focused on the chassis geometry, rider position and power delivery of the new engine and finished as the second fastest rider of the day with 2'02.005. On his last run, the Spanish rider had to stop on track for an engine problem that technicians will analyse tonight.

Titanium screws fitted

The relentless weight reduction continued with the replacement footprint bolts. This upgrade saves 9 grams to my goal.

2011 Repsol Honda Team Replica Suit

I have found a great company that makes Repsol Honda Replica Team suits. These suits
took 8 months of development to ensure the suit is of the highest quality and an accurate
representation of the Alpinestars original.

They aren't satisfied with just making a replica, they can customise the suits to add the
personal touch. In the photo's, there is additional Simoncelli tribute and a custom Rossi
suit made for a Rossi fan.

They come with pre-curved sleeves for proper riding position, Dual stitched main seams
for excellent tear resistance, Nylon Stitched. This suit features excellent design
comfort, 100% genuine leather, CE approved internal & External Protectors, fully
Perforated suit to keep  the rider cool while riding. Advanced placement of stretch  panels
with perforated leather to keep riders cool and comfortable.

These will cost around $650 USD (depending on specifications)

Here are the specifications:

New radiator guard

Well I ordered a new black one when I was at the mcn motorcycle to replace the orange one. This will match the new common theme for this year

New Renthal Sprockets

Here are my sprockets. Dropped a tooth at the front kept standard at the rear. I'm going with the 520 chain conversion to reduce weight help improve acceleration (as if it needs it!)

Fuel cap screws fitted

Here is a pic of the black fuel cap screws fitted to the bike.

Samco overflow pipes

Just recieved these from Samco and Racebikebitz. These replace the standard radiator overflow pipes for the bike. This will mean all overflow pipes match the radiator hoses. Thanks guys

Records broken - Casey leads on day three

"Three days testing here in Malaysia is very tiring. This morning when I woke up I was pretty sore and stiff, but once I got running I was a little bit better. Anyway, it’s been worth it to do a general test of the engine, chassis and tyres and overall it is the biggest test we have done on this bike and we have good data to analyse and can start to build up points we need for the second test. As I said yesterday, the biggest point to improve is on braking, and we are also working on the electronics to improve the management of the power and the grip level. The chatter is still there, I know it's something very difficult to fix, but I’m sure Honda is working hard on it. In general, it’s been a positive test for us and we will come back here in three weeks with new ideas. This bike is physically more demanding, you feel the power in the acceleration, the speed under hard braking and also the extra weight, but it’s alright. I will keep working hard …

Repsol Dominate Day 2 at Sepang

"It was great to be able to ride today and everything went pretty well, although I would have liked to have done a few more laps. We spent most of the day on the new chassis comparing it back to back with the one we had in Valencia and we found a good direction and where we want to go. As usual it would be great to take some elements from one chassis and some from the other, but at least we found the direction we are happy to follow. We used the hard front tyre this afternoon but found we had more chattering with it so we have to work on this, there is still room for improvement. We didn't get a chance to use the new spec tyres that Bridgestone have brought here, we'll try them out tomorrow and go from there".

"Today we started to work well from the beginning; the track conditions were better than yesterday and it was hotter out there. We've been working on the setting of the bike, focusing mainly on t…
