Pedrosa y Stoner - Presentación en Sepang del Repsol Honda Team

Sepang Test 1 - 2012 Season

DANI PEDROSA2nd Place 2'02.003"Today was good, for the first laps I think it was important for me to come back and just ride again. Of course, the first day I was a little bit stiff, not totally smooth on the bike, but we completed some laps and they were good. Today was mainly a test for myself, to get used to the bike again, recover the feeling, feel the throttle and the brakes after a long time off. The whole day I stayed with the same bike that I tested in Valencia in November and tomorrow the real test will start for us, we will work on the set up and probably try a modified chassis that Honda has brought here according to our requests after Valencia”.CASEY STONER"I was stretching this morning for a good twenty minutes preparing to go out on track for the first time and then all of a sudden my back just locked up on me, I couldn't move or do anything. I had to call someone to come and help me move into a position that was less painful! Then I had some physio on…

New Rc213V Photos

Here are the newly released photos of the RC213V. There are more on my facebook site in greater detail.

Casey Stoner Number #1

Here is the first of many publicity photos for the Repsol Honda Team for 2012. Casey has the Number one on the new RC213V. The artwork
appears unchanged for the 2012 season apart from
the Repsol HRC logos on the front mudguard (fender) and of course sporting the number 1.

Because my Repsol spares have to go somewhere

Here are some 35 Litre storage boxes used for my spares. They come from the really useful box company.

M3 Titanium nut

Well its been like the holy grail. I replaced all the bolts/screws for the radiator fans but could not find
any M3 Titanium nuts. Well, after a 3 month search. I now have 5! The good news is that all bolts have been replaced. The weight loss is minimal but i'm not one to shy away from a challenge!

R&G Titanium spindles

I found a great contact who has made the titanium spindles for my front and Rear crash bungs. The rear is 148.4g standard as opposed to just 83g! The front is 119.3g standard or just 65.3g for the titanium item. The craftsmanship is amazing!

New titanium fitted

I fitted the custom titanium seat screws today to replace the standard ones and also replaced the R&G cotton reel bolts to titanium bolts.

Tenkate velocity stacks (bell mouth)

Just received these today. These are used by the wsb team do should be a nice upgrade for me.

Clutch cable adjuster

Just received the new cable adjuster. It's drilled so lighter than standard and will match the new colour scheme

Fuel cap screws

I received these replacements today to match the new theme for 2012.

2012 top yoke

Here is my new top yoke to suit the new scheme for the bike

First trip out 2012

I decided to spend some time working on the Taylor made exhaust. since it was fitted, I just wasn't happy with its fitment. after a few hours, i'm pleased to say it now fits 100% percent perfect.

A great year for the Repsol Honda Team 2011

New items ordered

2012 has started and have ordered some new items:

Clutch adjuster to match a new black theme. As always, lighter than stock. Black fuel cap bolts to suit the new black theme
I have also bought a 2012 CBR1000RR top yoke. Honda has made these black for 2012 which is where my idea of the black fixings.

I have sourced a set of Ten Kate velocity stacks. I figure that if they are good enough for Johnny Rae then they are good enough for me! I also wonder if these will be used in the forthcoming Gresini Honda CRT bike.

I have also sourced another set of brand new Repsol fairings. I will update them with the 2011 stickers and fit the black subframe so it will look like the 2011 model (only better!)
