As my HONDA Racing carbon fibre front mudguard (fender) is being sprayed Pearl Siren Blue to match the bike I have bought two genuine Honda Racing stickers to fit to the muduard one its been painted The part number is 08F63-MFL82014. They are supposed to be for a Pearl Siren Blue Hugger so should look great. #Honda #HRT
Repsol Riders Casey and Dani tested the new RC213V at Brno ahead of 2012's new 1000cc rules. I noticed too that the front mudguard (fender) the current bike has gained the HRC sticker. Last year the front mudguard had REPSOL and prior to this race, it had nothing. Time to order a HRC sticker for mine I reckon!
I am starting to have lots of additional titanium bolts for the bike. Whilst on my travels. I found these neat little boxes. These are 'cool orange' and stack perfectly. They are from the really useful box company
I have just recieved a set of race spec engine bolts from Pro-bolt. The initial set wasn't right so after neary two months and a little help from Ten Kate it appears that the set is now correct. It doesn't include sump bolts so does not have all the bolts for the engine. It should make a nice weight reduction for the bike.
Click here to view the new bike. These photos show that the bike has largely cosmetic changes. This appears to be the 20th Anniversary model. It has significant suspension upgrades and no dubt lots of electronics.
Here are some custom titanium parts I have had made. The first large ones are some revised engine spacers that weigh 26.6 grams. The second are swingarm washers that weigh just 7.8 grams. The last item is a front wheel nut which has been drilled to allow my R&G fork protectors. This weighs 37.2 grams
After celebrating the all-Honda podium yesterday at Brno, the Repsol Honda Team returned back on track this morning for a one day test dedicated to the development of the Honda prototype for the 2012 MotoGP Championship. It was a positive day of testing with both riders giving valuable feedback, which will allow the HRC engineers to continue the development of the new machine. As scheduled, the test began at 09h00 under dry conditions and finished at 18h00 with one hour lunch break. Fortunately, the rain that was expected did not arrive until the final 30 minutes of the day, when the Repsol Honda Team had already finished their programme. Czech Republic GP winner Casey Stoner, who already tested the RC213V in the Jerez test, was the fastest rider on track with a lap time of 1’56.168. Completing a total of 57 laps, he and his team took some important steps forward in the development of the
2012 machine. Dani Pedrosa made his debut on the new machine as he missed the first …
Here is a short video using the dogcam wide bullet HD camera fitted to the bike. I have tried it mounted to the mudguard uses their suction pad kit which worked great! I will be mounting the camera to the fairing next. Click here to view
